About two years ago, members from some of the city’s best known crews and events got together to create something new. They wanted it to be a parody of club culture, something that was totally awesome, but making fun of itself at the same time. The goal was to create a culture based on the music burning up the blogs, but not in a way that was elitist or detached from the spirit of a raucous jam. The mission’s priorities in order were fun, art, education and binge drinking. Artists like Klever, Treasure Fingers, The Twelves, RAC, U-tern, Grum, and Them Jeans helped them pave that way. After 20 consecutive months of brown-outs, black-outs and delirious dancefloors, the mission hasn’t changed. BE THE PARTY.
