Rupture’s presentation will open with a behind-the-scenes look at the tech and ideas involved in his 3-turntable Serato Scratch DJ set-up. Then he’ll demonstrate his rig for concerts with his live band Nettle (their new album will be released on Sub Rosa this month). For Nettle, Rupture uses Ableton, Serato, Reaktor, and a variety of MIDI controllers, as well as taking feeds from violin, cello, and voice for real-time processing.
