Max Wallace lives in Seattle, WA. and makes music under the name "Mad Max". Mad Max has opened for dj Q-bert, Grand mixer DXT, Grand Wizard Theodore, DJ Jazzy Jeff. MadMax takes sampling thrift-store records to yet another rung. Each song stands as a piece and testament to record-crate gem sifting. Mad Max has no formal music training, except for 5th grade trombone. While working for Sub Pop Records he was able to spend time working under the wings of Design Juggernaut Jeff Kleinsmith, where his pastiche approach to musical assemblage was first acquired as a Graphic Designer. Madmax does all the Trashy Trash poster designs, he creates campy but RAW designs that demand attention. As a resident dj of trashy trash, max throws down some incredible multi genre sets of disco, hip hop and general musical nastyness.
