PERFORMERS

Kamran Sadeghi (aka Son of Rose), born in Iran and living in Seattle, creates sound and mixed media works for live performance and installations. His current series of audio video works entitled "Kha Variations" are a live transposition of sound into color, shape, and motion and will be exhibited at Gallery 4Culture through 2009, as well as part of the contemporary dance performance "The Snow Project".

Sadeghi's recordings were included in the WPA\C's Experimental Media Series Exhibition, co-curated by Richard Chartier, and have received critical acclaim in U.S. and European publications such as THE WIRE and Signal to Noise. His solo performances have included the use of prepared grand piano, 12 string guitar, live electronics, and video.
