Resident at Portland techno monthly Kulturszene, M. Quiet (Matt Kwiatkowski) is another fixture in Portland's electronic scene. A DJ that readily admits to dancing, he appreciates the balance between dancefloor-friendliness and intellectual stimulation, matching the metronomic predictability of techno with the sonic adventurousness of IDM and electro. As Quiet (part of the duo Linger *& Quiet) , he moves away from techno and instead plays disco and dance pop.
