PERFORMERS

Besides being a DJ, Limefeather (a.k.a. Eli Huntington) is an improvisational musician working primarily with electronics. Mixing electronic sound with other live musicians and performers has carried Limefeather to performances around the Northwest and Asia. In 2006 Limefeather, touring with P.A.N. won the prestigious ‘Dokkebi Award’ at the Chuncheon International Mime Festival in Korea. Limefeather’s mild-mannered alter ego, Eli has developed web sites, branding and identity, promotional graphics and databases for a range of clients under the name of Futureruins. Often exchanging social interaction to dedicate time on these projects, Futureruins has been an intensely personal side venture of his for the past seven years. Along with Aron Schoppert and Shane Silkey, he co-owns the experimental techno label Peloton Musique, whose mission is to allow artists to express themselves creatively without having to stick to a specific sound. Along with producing his own music, he has also been a strong supporter and member of local art groups. These include Artists of South Seattle, P.A.N., Hiawatha Artists and the now defunct NIA Artists Collective.
