City Arts is an editorial product created by and for creative communities of the Puget Sound.

They aim to be at the center of the conversation around arts, music and creative living in Seattle, Tacoma and the Eastside. Founded in late 2006 as a bimonthly magazine for Tacoma, City Arts has grown from a traditional print magazine to a dynamic media enterprise — a triumvirate, if you will, of creative outlets. In three impressive packages, we deliver a healthy mix of commentary and suggestions to help savvy readers explore the culture that surrounds them.

Every month, three unique editions of City Arts magazine are published in an attractive, glossy format that gives readers the best way to keep tabs on artists and art. From sophisticated feature-length stories, to stellar photo essays, to comprehensive listings on the best regional events — each issue of City Arts brings you artful coverage of visual art, music, film, theatre and performance in three critical, creative communities in the region.

And it’s free throughout Seattle, Tacoma and the Eastside at coffee shops, restaurants, libraries, and of course, in our bright red, old-fashioned news boxes.
