One of the original Fourthcity Djs and a one of the original resident Djs at Stop Biting. Hideki is a beat matching mastermind, a great scratcher and throws down sick juggling routines. You usually catch him spinning hip hop & breaks, but he’s also been known to crush the dance floor with sick house tracks. Hideki has been a opening dj & shared the stage with many artists including Dj Krush, Dj Exile, Grey Filastine, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Truckasauras, Daz-I-Kue, Dj DRM, Dr Oop, Dj Craze & many more. He’s been collecting records and djing for over ten years. Plus he’s also a member of the Hidden Habitats crew which includes Djs Bumble Bee, Kamui, Hideki & MC Sage Nomad. The Hidden Habitat Djs have another side project called, The Triple Nipple Djs… Where they flex their skills on a 3 turntable set up. Each dj switches off controlling the mixing on 2 of the turntables. The third turntable is used by each dj for scratching, where they sometimes use guitar pedals, Dr Sample & other cool gear to add effects, delay & loops to their scratches… Make sure to check him out on Tuesdays at Lo-Fi or Mondays at Ohana.
