Not only is Flammable the longest running house night on the West Coast, it’s a Sunday night institution for Seattle house music lovers. Re-Bar -one of Seattle’s most beloved night clubs- offers an intimate and friendly environment, complete with high-end sound and hard with floors, ideal for dancing. For this installment of Flammable, Decibel has brought in two stellar live acts, known for their on-stage charizma and ability to move crowds across the globe.

Five years ago Clement Aichelbaum, Damien Vandesande and Jonathan Ille had discovered electronic music, and started immediately womposing electronic music in their own style. From this point dOP was born and the first high rated releases and remixes on the labels MilnorModern, Circus Company, Eklo, Orac and Einmaleins. A special preference of the three guys is their love for collecting instruments such as flutes, horns, percussions, glockenspiele, saxophones and many more. Mostly they are together in the studio and work in a very collective way.

Chicago-based Kate Simko is a classical pianist turned house/techno producer. Drawing from a wide range of influences, she combines her sense of melody and structure with her dance music roots in Chicago house and Detroit techno. Whether playing live or DJ’ing, Kate’s selection maintains warmth and soul, full of funky bass lines and loose rhythms. Brian Lyons has been organzing the longest running Seattle House weekly club night, Flammable, and continues to be an integral player in the Seattle underground music scene.
