Sean Majors started DJ’n at the ripe age of fifteen. Opting to explore his obsession with music rather than participate in small talk, he found that behind the turntables suited him best. From there, it just happened. House parties turned into clubs and bars. Clubs and bars turned into warehouses and concert venues. Eventually, Sean recognized that his life could be music and parties, so he started putting his own twist on what was going on in the Northwest’s music culture and “found himself” as an artist. Sounds lame, but it’s true. Sean tried out tons of approaches to making and playing music before settling on some crazy shit that could only be characterized as Sean Majors.

Focusing mainly on electronic music, it’d be rude to call him a house or techno DJ. Sean varies his tempo and style continuously—he’s done it since he started DJing, he does it now more than ever, and he always will. He’ll be the first to tell you that he’s just “not emotionally built to be one flavor of anything”. Along with his good friend and fellow DJ Gene Lee, Sean has released around 15 tracks as LST BYS, many having gotten rotation from house music heavyweights like Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, DJ Dan and Lawnchair Generals.

Along with his good friends Flat Black, Martha Linhoss and Bgeezy, Sean throws one of the more successful club nights in the NW called Trashed. It’s the gospel. Check the site. www.trashedmagazine.com
